Making A Purchase To make a purchase through our website is easy. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit and debit card payments on-line or by cheque.
BY CREDIT/DEBIT CARD: Select pay by Credit Card and you will be taken to our secure payment server, Sage Pay, where you can enter your payment details using secure 128-bit encryption. Email confirmations will follow immediately upon completion.
BY CHEQUE: Send your cheque made payable to FARMYARD POULTRY and addressed to
Farmyard Poultry,10 Halls Close, Drayton, Abingdon, Oxon, OX14 4LU. We will confirm receipt and despatch your order when your cheque has been cleared.
If you experience problems making a payment through the website please check you have entered your email address correctly (no spaces, most payment errors are due to this problem), your name, address and particularly postcode are correct. If this still does not resolve the problem please call 01235 525444.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order when full payment has cleared, and hence a contract between us. Your Invoice will be included with the goods. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Carriage charges for all goods are worked out by weight and are quoted excl. VAT in the shopping basket. To find out delivery charges just add goods to the basket and then click Checkout, VAT is applied to carriage at 17.5%.
There is NO Carriage Charge on Poultry Housing they are delivered FREE.
We will only despatch goods to UK addresses. No goods will be shipped without payment in full by credit/debit card or cheque made payable to Farmyard Poultry. Goods are supplied subject to conditions of sale. We do not relinquish title of these goods until payment is received in full. For orders made from the UK 17.5% VAT is added.

Delivery Schedule Non-housing goods - Poultry Supplies, Incubators, Brooders and Electric Fencing are despatched next day when in stock, via courier. If goods are placed on back order we will inform you by email and offer a refund if necessary. If your order is urgent please let us know and will do our best to get the goods to you as soon as possible.

Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption through the Sage Pay secure system and Farmyard Poultry do not have access to your card details. You will also be asked to complete the Mastercard Securecard or Visa Verification option to further protect you, and us, from fraud. Farmyard Poultry do not disclose buyer's information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Guarantee We guarantee your satisfaction. Goods that are received damaged or faulty will be replaced immediately. All electric fence energisers have a 2 year warranty and, if a fault occurs, will be returned to Gallagher UK or Hotline Electric Fencing for repair or replacement. Please note: Water damage to Electric Fence energisers invalidates the warranty. All Egg Incubators and Brooders are covered by the manufacturers 1 year warranty.
Please notify us immediately by email or phone if you find the goods damaged upon receipt and we will replace immediately. If you decide you no longer require the goods within 7 days of receipt we offer a full refund less any carriage charges. Just return the goods in original packing as new and we will refund your payment card. For returned goods over 7 days after receipt we reserve the right to charge a re-stocking charge. Goods that have been used will not warrant a full refund but this will be considered on an individual basis. Farmyard Poultry offer advice by telephone and in detail on the website and we ask that you consider this when making any purchase. If you purchase goods against that advice Farmyard Poultry cannot be held liable if they are then found not to be suitable for your purposes.
We offer a 14-day No Quibble Guarantee on all of our timber housing products, so that if the quality of materials or standard of workmanship is not what you expected, we can replace the product or refund your money. After this period any faults will be considered on an individual basis in order to rectify any problem as we do want you to be completely happy with your purchase and our service.

Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.
These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.
None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way.
